Scavenger Hunt Sunday 2-10-13

We've been getting out of the house a bit more, this week we even made it to the zoo one morning! We are also getting ready for Valentine's Day so I have a couple of photos of those preparations.

The Small Things
Here is little Nick. This was taken on Thursday, the day he turned one month old! It is crazy to think it has already been a month, but at the same time, life without him seems so long ago.

One of the places we went this week was to JoAnn's, and while we were there the kids picked out masks to paint. Well, actually Addy and Will did, but Ellie was so bummed that she didn't get one that the next day when I was at Michael's, I picked one up for her. Then Addy was sad that she didn't have a princess one. *sigh*

Work of Art
There are lots of works of art made around here, but this is one the kids made when they were outside earlier this week.  (And yes, Will is eating snow.)

Ellie was so excited when she found out she would be passing Valentines out to her classmates.  She asked several times yesterday when she would be able to go buy them.  As soon as she got them home, she had to fill them out and put them together!

Window Beauty
We made these hearts a week or two ago using a salad spinner (I had Rick get one from a thrift store and that one is just for artwork now).  I got the idea here.

  1. Happy 1 month day to the little guy! Love the pics this week!

  2. These are so fun - love the little fella eating snow and the masks and Valentines for school swoop me back in time to when my kids were younger. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Your sweet little Nick! Oh my! (I have a Nick also, but he's not so little anymore.) Love the artwork (and my boys eat snow all the time too!). Your window decorations are very cool.

  4. your work of art!!! Very clever!

  5. Your little one eating snow is too fun. And what fun masks for your kids!!

  6. You got some amazing shots but, like no fair with all those cute kids!! What a fun, creative set and don't worry about the snow eating. Mine both did it and lived to tell!
