Hi all! I have another baby layout to share from my older son's book. I think this is the last layout I need to make for his baby book! And he's only 5 1/5!! (*sarcasm*)
I started with this sketch from Scrapbook Challenges:
I had some odds and ends from the hospital that I wanted to get on the page, so I worked the hospital wristbands, and the card that was on his bassinet into the design of the layout. The white peeking out from the navy polka dot paper is the hearing assessment and the sheet that I recorded his feedings on for the first 12 days of his life. (PSA: When adding embellishments, such as brads and grommets, remember that you have a pocket on your page so that you don't put your fasteners through the items in your pocket...)
I cut the word "Welcome" using my Cricut and the Zooballoo cartridge. and finished off my title with a sticker.I was also inspired by the color challenge this month at ScrapMuch? The challenge was to use at least 4 of these colors:
As you can see, I used midnight sky, laughing orange, baby blue, and pecan shell.
