Thinking of You

Hello all! I have a card to share tonight and I am excited to say, "Fusion is back!!" They took a break over the summer and I really missed the inspiration, but they are back and check out this amazing inspiration!

I started with the yellow background and used some watercolor paper for the background of my card.  I sprayed the paper with water, then scribbled with a yellow Gelato, and softened the color into the water. I decided the color needed a little more depth, so I sprayed again with water and then added a couple of blots of Fossilized Amber Distress Stain and mixed that in using my finger.

I also loved the peacocks in the inspiration piece.  I had to think for a moment, but I then remembered that October Afternoon Woodland Park collection has some peacock motifs, so I pulled that out. I fussy cut the peacock from a piece of patterned paper. I then went over all of the dark blue areas with a VersaMark pen and sprinkled it with glitter embossing powder. I cut the sentiment panel with my Cricut and Storybook cartridge. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment. A piece of ribbon and a few sequins finished off the card.
