Mother's Day Cards

Mother's Day is just 2 days away and I finished my cards today!  I had some great inspiration for these!  First up is the Fusion Challenge:

I loved the colors and textures in this one and was inspired immediately! I had the script paper in my scraps, so I started there with my grey card base. The flower was stamped, heat embossed and fussy cut from watercolor paper.  I colored it with gelatos. The sentiment was cut with my Cricut and the Holiday Cakes cartridge, so I am also entering it in Bitten by the Bug 2's Mother's Day challenge.

My second card was inspired by The Card Concept's challenge going on now.

There is so much to be inspired by here!  I started with the floral pattern and went from there. I used some October Afternoon "Woodland Park". I worked within the color scheme and finished it off with some twine, which was also inspired by the photo.  My card is in the Clean and Layered style this week.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend and a happy mother's day to all the moms out there!
