Hello! I have a few cards to share today that I've made over the last few weeks.
First up is a pair of anniversary cards that I made using a stencil set I got earlier this year. I tried purples this time for the flowers and really love how they turned out. I blended purple ink onto the edges of the card fronts to help highlight the flowers and add some interest. I cut the sentiment using my Cricut and finished off the card front with some sequins.
Next up is a birthday card for my daughter who turned 18 earlier this month. I started by stamping the background using the Marbled Turnabout Stamp from Concord and 9th. Since I used such bright colors, I went pretty simple for the rest of the design. I used my Cricut to cut the circle with the 18. I cut another circle from clear plastic and glued that to the back of the 18. I used my Cricut to cut a circle outline that matched the one around the 18 and glued that behind the circle to create a circle window. I found sequins and beads to go with the color scheme and added them to the window. I finished the card off with a sprinkling of sequins.
I was inspired by this color combination from Color Dare:
Finally, I made a pair of masculine birthday cards. I started by stamping snowflakes in white and Versamark on the light kraft colored background. I used some scraps for the patterned paper pieces. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and then ran it through my sticker making machine and adhered that over the top. I finished off this design with some Liquid Pearl drops.
This design was inspired by the current card sketch from Stick It Down:
