Birthday and Anniversary Cards- Same Sketch!

It's that time of year where I am cranking out cards as fast as I can because our families have lots of birthdays and anniversaries. Sometimes that means I make a couple of identical cards, this time I made two with the same overall design, but different stamps and papers. I started with this sketch from CAS-ual Fridays:

Here are the two cards I made:

 
First up is a birthday card for my niece who turns 5 on Monday. I stamped and fussy cut the butterflies and used a dot of glue to attach them to my card front. For the sentiment, I stamped the colored circles first and let them dry. I ran my anti-static tool over it and then stamped in black, and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. The circle was attached with foam tape for dimension. I finished off the card with a bit of glitter glue on the butterfly bodies and a couple of ribbons across the bottom.

Next, I have an anniversary card that I made for my in-laws. I was inspired by this week's inspiration piece at Inspired by All the Little Things:

I was mostly inspired by the colors in this piece. Again I stamped the images and fussy cut them. For this card, I then pressed each circle onto a Versamark pad and then sprinkled it with clear glitter embossing powder. I popped up the heart for dimension.
