Hello all! I have a new scrapbook layout to share today. There are so many great sketches out there these days, but most are single page sketches and I have lots of photos which requires two page layouts. I decided to use one of those sketches for one of my pages and making the second coordinate.
For my layout today, I started with this sketch from
Lasting Memories and the prompt that the page be about a birthday celebration:
I used the sketch for my left hand page. I stuck fairly close to the sketch, but used larger, non square photos. I also moved the title because I wanted a longer title.
I started my layout with cardstock and used a mask and Distress Ink to create the dots on the background. I then layered on some patterned paper and my photos. The current title challenge at
Paper Issues is to use bling on your title, and since this is a page about my daughter's golden birthday party, I used some DIY Thickers and gold glitter. I then decided to add some gold ink splatters in a couple of areas of the page. I embellished my page with various pieces from several companies that I have had in my stash for quite some time.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my latest work!
