Scrapping Everyday Miracles Birthday Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Scrapping Everyday Miracles Birthday Blog Hop!  If you have arrived here from Tracey's blog, you are in the right place!  If you have just happened upon the hop, welcome!  You can find the beginning at the Scrapping Everyday Miracles Blog.

A little about the hop...
Each of the Design Team members and our Guest Design Team members have created a project, with the birthday theme, to show you on their blogs.  Make sure that you hop along to each blog because you never know where there might be more prizes hiding along the way!  In addition to prizes we have a special birthday scavenger hunt for you :)   On several of the blogs there will be a project photo that has birthday hats hidden in the photo.  As you hop through count how many hats you find.  When you are finished with the hop write the total number of hats you found in a comment on the Scrapping Everyday Miracles blog hop post.  Have fun and happy hopping!

Ready to see the awesome Grand Prize for the hop...

Today I am sharing a birthday layout I made of my oldest daughter's 4th birthday.  I used the very fun Fancy Pants Hopscotch collection.  The colors of the floral paper went perfectly with the colors on her cake!

I used one of the banner pieces for an embellishment cluster in the bottom left corner.  I layered some stickers and a chipboard piece over it.  To make it stand out more against the pink gingham, I matted the yellow banner piece with the darker pink paper.  I also stamped the swirls for some added interest.

I used Sure Cuts A Lot to cut the title.  To add some sparkle, I traced over the "4th" with liquid glue and sprinkled it with glitter.  I also made some glitter "splatters" around the title.

There you have it, my birthday layout.  Did you find any hats in the first photo?

The hop will remain open until Sunday night, July 14th at midnight PST.
Remember in order to qualify for our grand prize you must leave a comment on all the blogs.
